Traditional geometric patterns, swaths of turquoise, brown, white and a pleasant mauve coupled with a sea view the place shouts –Chill Out Zone! I stopped by for lunch and found the vibrant space half full of casual late lunchers though the setting seemed correspondingly fitting for evening cocktails. I begin with a 'Homemade Minty Lemonade' before ordering a selection of traditional 'Mezze', which is stunningly refreshing. Highlights include the 'House Muhammara', 'Humus' and a 'Red Beet Mutabbal'. The 'Fattoush Salad' is humble but exceedingly decadent and fresh. Roughly chopped tomatoes, cucumber, toasted pita and fresh herbs are beautifully stirred in lemon, olive oil and a scattering of sumac. 'Turkish Lahmacun' - a flatbread is delicious, the parsley and tomatoes bursting with freshness blending amazingly well with the onion and minced meat. From the grill, we try the 'Lamb Shish' pulled from the skewer and served with a special bread. Last but not least ZouZou serves stunning desserts. I tried the 'Pistachio Baklava with Ice-cream'.
