Enter a space that defines ‘art funk’. The décor has buckets as lampshades, rough and ready seating and a very casual vibe to it. Plastered with works of art − it doubles up as an art gallery for aspiring artists. Welcome to Off the Wall, just off the road towards Fort Aguada lighthouse in Sinquerim. The brainchild of the brother sister duo − Ian and Tanaz D’souza, this space is artistically inclined. Punctured holes in the walls add to the edgy design. An earthy hue engulfs the atmosphere around. The deep-bottomed plates play host to some exciting tapas and entrées. The chicken live pate with balsamic reduction and onion jam is a crowd pleaser, followed by the local ‘urak pork’. For a mouthful of sweetness, order the banoffie pie − biscuit topped with toffee and sliced bananas, with non-sweetened chantilly cream and a scoop of ice cream, and remember us post that.
