A new addition to the upscale beach restaurant belt in Morjim, ‘Trip’ serves sumptuous sushi, wafer-thin pizzas, tapas, paella, bruschetta and other delights from around the world. Located along a stretch of white-sand beach, the venue is designed in a minimalistic fashion with aqua and white tones. The restaurant is spacious and open, allowing many people to relax and unwind, right by the beach or under the shade further inside. There is a long bar at one end with comfortable lounge seating as well as dining tables. For vegetarians, look no further than the kaffir lime corn cake with a choice of cocktail for company such as the lock, stock and smoking barrel – vodka, Monin vanilla pineapple juice and smoked pineapple chunks. The Goa roll hits the spot for the carnivore’s palate with warm sushi rolls with tiger prawns. For the sweet tooth cravings, try the rose petal gelato.
