84 Anjuna Shack offers a slice of Goa in the heart of Hyderabad’s cyber city. It is a chilled-out shack with a trippy colourful ceiling, basic bamboo chairs, books, and board games. My favourite section in Anjuna is the porch that invites you to grab a cushion and bolster and lie down beneath the dreamcatchers and the colourful paintings. Anjuna also doubles up as an art exhibition and a flea market. A big screen is added for big sporting events and the occasional community movie screenings. The grub here is a mix of classic café fare and Goan specials. While the regular café stuff feels rather run off the mill, the Goan grub is quite good. There is quite a bit here to please a porkaholic – an 'Anjuna Breakfast Platter' of bacon and sausages with masala omelette, a 'Goan Thali with Pork Vindaloo', and an excellent 'Chorizo Pulao'. If you do not consume Pork, you have options of Veg, Fish, and Prawn also with the Goan Thalis.
