  • They have a good variety of Sangria. 'Fruity Sangria Blanca' which has white wine with peach schnapps and fruits is the one recommended
  • Among the other Margaritas in the menu, they offer a 'Flavoured Seasonal Margarita' where they use a different fruit depending on the season
  • The mutton 'Galawati Kabab' here really melts-in-the-mouth. They also have a mushroom version for the vegetarians

The Atrium at Taj Deccan in Banjara Hills is an elegant place to enjoy your drinks. The entrance to the bar is through Spice Junxion, the Indian restaurant, making it a bit difficult to locate. The elaborate bar menu has a good collection of Indian and international spirits. The range of cocktails here is extensive, ranging from classics like 'Old Fashioned' and 'Cosmopolitan' to the trendy 'Dusky Navel' (vodka with peach schnapps and orange juice) and 'Hell Freezes Over' (rum, lime and green chilly). They also have interesting sparkling wine cocktails on the menu, but these are often not available, as the staff is reluctant to open a full bottle of sparkling wine just for a few drinks. The very short finger food menu has decent vegetarian and non-vegetarian finger food to complement the drinks. 'Rawa Fried Fish', 'Grilled Chicken on Sticks' and 'Namakpara Tokri' are some good ones to go for.
