There are a number of Punjabi restaurants in Hyderabad, but Dildaar is among the few which have tried to maintain the authenticity of the cuisine. The outlet interiors have been designed extremely aesthetical with a contemporary look while retaining the basics of Punjabi décor. Do start with the 'Thick Lassi'; It is one of the best in the city. The 'Amritsari Kulcha' and the 'Paneer Stuffed Churchur Naan', prepared in the traditional way, are not-to-be-missed here. The kababs here have a balanced taste, the picks among them are 'Chicken Kabab Amritsari' marinated in spices and hung curd, and, 'Chapli Kabab' - the minced mutton delicacy. One must-try the chutneys that they serve with the kababs. 'Butter Chicken' here is among the popular main courses, along with 'Rara Gosht' prepared with boneless mutton and keema. They have a good number of vegetarian dishes – 'Dahi Ke Soolay', 'Chatpata Mushroom' and 'Methi Chaman' are some of the outstanding ones. Service is quick and attentive, with the wait staff always at your beck and call.
