While Karma’s ambiguous slogan ‘We serve what you deserve’ opens itself up to various interpretations, the USP of this place becomes quite evident the moment you step inside - it is the killer vibes. The terrace is divided into 2 sections – an open-air section and a covered space with floor to ceiling glass panes offering a panoramic view of the KBR park and the city. Karma is a veritable party spot and has gigs not only on weekends but also on weekdays. As is common in most such places, stags are not welcome in the evenings. Throw in some heady cocktails with the peppy décor, brilliant vistas, and impressive live acts and you have got yourself a potent mix. This does come at a premium though – Karma’s signature cocktails are more expensive than some of the luxury hotels. However, happy hour deals and group-friendly pitchers are available on the regular cocktails. Bottled spirits can be ordered by the peg as well as by the bottle. The food menu is in line with what is trendy - clever twists on Indian flavours along with classic bar grub such as 'Cheese Poppers' and 'Nachos'. However, service is a bit hapless and availability of dishes is patchy. The decibel levels can get quite loud. During live gigs, it is best to avoid the tables immediately adjacent to the stage.
