The main draw at Marsala is the 'Mandi' – a meat and rice dish from Yemen. The past couple of years has seen a surge in popularity of Mandi. The dish, which was once restricted to Barkas and a handful of other patches in the city, is now available fairly widely. Marsala’s take on Mandi, however, is quite different what is available in rest of the city. Best described as a fusion of Arabic cuisine with Telugu flavours, the 'Rice' of the Mandi is very lightly smoked and is served with 'Patchipulusu' and 'Raita'. The meat is available in multiple variants; from the tender and mild juicy Mutton to searingly hot Fried Mutton. Besides the Mandi, Marsala serves a mix of Indian and Continental that mostly fares well. The 'Pahadi Kebab' offers a great balance of sweet and spice, while the 'Banjara Kebab' is adequate for the hotheads.
