This unpretentious and inexpensive café on Sudder Street is something of a landmark in the area. The place is particularly popular with Western tourists and backpackers staying in budget hotels in the vicinity; for local patrons, a few bottles of beer at the nearby Fairlawn, followed by a quick bite at Blue Sky Café, is a ritual of sorts. There is nothing remarkable about this place as far as appearances go (except it is very crowded in the evenings), but they serve a massive multicuisine spread – Continental, Indian and Chinese – and a delightful assortment of shakes and fresh juice, burgers (try the chicken sunrise burger) and sandwiches. Plus, there is free Wi-Fi and live sports screenings on match days.
