The décor is very lively and chirpy with murals depicting lifestyle of Bengal on the walls. Few green windows styled as a zamindar house and some colourful seating arrangements in the form of garden benches creates the retro ambience of the place. The menu comprises of Bengali, continental and some North Indian delicacies, however becomes a bit confusing while reading the menu since the Bengali dishes and the North Indian dishes are not separated. The food, other than the continental is mostly very greasy and spicy. Some of the kababs and tikkas are noteworthy. The Continental dishes are not bad either and they have few of the classics such as chicken á la kiev and chekti bell munierre. However, they do not stand at par with a number of restaurants in Kolkata serving good continental food.
