It is a cosy, 20-cover wayside café with simple but cheerful interiors and a focus on good food. With some rock n roll playing in the background, this is a good place to grab a quick bite or catch up with a friend. What they serve is essentially feel-good, comfort food. The menu, which is mostly café bites – chips and dips, burgers, sandwiches and appetisers – also features wholesome numbers such as grilled fish topped with caper lime sauce (it comes in a crisp pastry basket) and chicken bitten steak served on a bed of creamy risotto. The sandwiches (try the smoked chilli chicken and mozzarella in garlic bread) that come with a heap of fries and a tangy salad are particularly good, and the kulfi shake is a must-try.
