The Brewmaster is housed in Mohali’s bustling Phase 5 market that’s dotted with eateries. But what goes in this microbrewery’s favour is its space that is styled like a lounge meets party place. Even during the day, you will find it bustling with people. The first thing you notice when you step inside The Brewmaster is the music-themed interiors and a separate party area that is usually booked for private dos. The central area of the brewery has good seating and is a better place if you are not in the mood for loud music. There is a terrace area as well that offers good views of the city. The staff is quick to guide you with the menu (riddled with spelling errors) that hops across cuisines picking up popular favourites. There is everything from Indian and Continental to Pan Asian fare. The ‘Brewmaster Wonder Chicken’ we tried was quite spicy due to the liberal use of black pepper. But the fresh wheat beer helped calm the tastebuds which were on fire. The ‘Veg Salt and Pepper’ was better and the portions are quite generous. The platters are a good choice if you are looking for appetisers to go with the beer. The service is prompt.
