This chic restaurant with aquatic elements, celebrates fishermen and their catch, both in décor and the food. Global coastal food and seafood specialities is what one can expect to enjoy here. The menu, a wee bit ambitious, boasts of dishes from South East Asian, Japanese, Mediterranean and European cuisines. Of course, Malwani, Goan, Mangalorean, Chettinad, Bengali delicacies too are on offer. The bar menu is exhaustive and impressive. The food is of great quality, well-presented and the portions hearty. The Indian seafood dishes are spicy and in some cases fiery, but unarguably the best bet here. Shoho Pan Fish, a marinated pan-fried fish with Thai herbs is delightful, while the Chettinad Nandu Rasam is a home-style rustic soup which appeases the palate. Paplet Cha Saar cooked in traditional Malwani style is worth a try with steamed rice or bhakri. Javvarisi And Carrot Payasam and Strawberry Cheese Ice Cream are not-to-be-missed from the desserts section. The staff needs to be better trained to get comfortable with the menu and service style befitting a place like this.
