Located on the first floor of Hotel Oriental Residency, this place is abuzz with activity throughout the day. There are two seating sections – Soul A and B, both packed. The décor and ambience is a bit staid but the place is pulsating. The affordably priced lunch buffet is an obvious attraction. There is clearly no speciality, as the menu here boasts of several popular cuisines. There is clearly something for every palate. Non-vegetarians can undoubtedly look forward to some exciting fare, yet there are abundant choices for vegetarians too. Hugely popular with kitty party groups and families, they practically occupy the entire restaurant. Chapli kababs, rarah ghosht, dhaba chicken, cheese spinach roll, lamb chilly garlic are worth a try. The food is spicy, the portions generous but a tad greasy. The well-stocked bar is manned efficiently and drinks are prepared a la minute. Don’t expect prompt service from the harried staff.
