Fashionable and sassy, this chic place spells luxury from word go and yet, has an informal and relaxed ambience. The third of the Project series by Pizza Express, the menu here offers a hyper-local experience. Small plates, nibbles, salads, pasta, sandwiches and burgers, apart from varieties of pizza, is what you can expect. The light and airy pizza here is almost weightless, which is a reflection of the strength of the well-made dough. The varied toppings shoot flavours in the mouth with each bite. The melt-in-the-mouth 'Padana' and hearty 'Lamb Meat Ball Pizza' are not-to-be-missed. The wardrobe malfunction among salads and the imitation from small plates are clever and creative. The 'Runway Roast' is hearty and robust. Vegetarians can indulge in the creamy 'Penne Con Broccoli Pasta'. Each dish screams fresh local ingredients with global influences, prepared using Chef Vicky Ratnani’s signature modern cooking techniques. The presentation is eye-catching and the portions decent. Splashed with tons of gold, contrasted with concrete, the bar section is an interesting area to be seated in. Service is quick and alert and the staff articulate.
