The name may sound like a den for alcoholics, but it is indeed misleading. This place is in fact, a fun, cosy café, for the millennials to hang out and aptly located opposite the scenic lake. The interiors are vibrant and the décor, funky. The food is vegetarian comfort fare and the place serves no alcohol. Expect pizza, pasta, sandwiches, chaats, maggi, desserts and beverages. The 'Dahi Papdi Chaat' here is well-made, with the right amount of zest and spice. 'Paneer Bhurji Wraps' are generously filled and satiating. The 'Club Veggie Sandwich' oozing with cheese, seems exciting, but the excessive potatoes, make it a tad disappointing. Among pastas, the unpretentious 'Pesto Pasta' stands out. The food is simple, hearty and easy-on-the-wallet. No fancy presentation or gimmicks here. If a proper meal is what you are seeking, settle for the 'Butter Dal Khichdi' or 'Chole Kulche'. While most youngsters may typically opt for the 'Hot Brownie with Ice Cream', the 'Puran Poli here', is the star, among the desserts. The service staff is friendly and polite and the service, efficient.
