There has been a boom of microbreweries in the tri-city. A fairly new entrant on the scene is Beer Castle. Quite like its name, it pays an ode to the drink with a variety of fresh brews. The place boasts of modern interiors and there's good use of the space. The lighting is such that even on a harsh summer day, it felt cool and dark inside. The menu is robust and packs in global favourites. You will find everything from ‘Zesty Quinoa Salad’, ‘Bologna Pizza’, ‘Hummus and Pita’ to ‘Thai Curries’, ‘Shish Touk’ and more. You know the menu is a palate pleaser when you spot dishes like ‘Honey Chilli Potatoes’, ‘Chilli Paneer’ and the likes. Apart from the fresh brews, the bar is well stocked and dishes out a range of drinks. Do expect the music to be loud and the ambience lounge-like. The service could be sharper. The portions and prices are reasonable.
