The quirky, kitschy décor here clearly plays to the young set. Contemplate funky starters such as masala papad cones, potato skins, chilli cheese pita, fried anchovies, beer batter-fried bombil, liver masala crostinis and more. Sandwiches pack in a three-cheese, or rajma flavour, or a cheesy prawn foot-long. There is also rice bowls, such as burnt garlic rice with Burmese curry, Manchurian, Mexican, and biryani. Pastas and burgers go well with interesting cocktails: Madh Island comes as several spirits in an aluminium mug sprinkled with chaat masala, while the Ko-Rum blends kokum, Sprite and white rum in a flask with a syringe, and Fishbowl has little orange peel ‘goldfish’ in a sea of vodka-laden blue curacao.
