This fancy restaurant offers some really good Chinese cuisine and North Indian grub and it is all priced very economically. The interior of the place is quite well done and offers a good sight of the road outside and then there are the greens that are quite welcoming too. So, is the food – it is familiar, it tastes great and it is not much of a hassle to spend a little more. The ‘Pomfret Koliwada’ was the catch of the day and we loved that fish, the rubbed masala on it and the perfectly cooked fish did not ask for more but for some drinks. They make decent classic cocktails like the ‘Bloody Mary’ or ‘Spiked Iced Teas’, but for all you teetotallers there are enough mocktails on the menu. From the mains, we tried the ‘Dal Khichdi’ which was pretty nicely done and there is barely anything you can do to spice it up, so is simple at its best. There is a whole lot of other seafood and red meat menu that can be interesting if you like it in the Chinese way, more than Indian because the latter is what they do in a rather average manner. For desserts, we tried the ‘Crème Caramel’, great that it didn’t feel eggy, quite sweet on the palette though.
