This one is a delicious, meaty slice of Kerala right in the heart of Viman Nagar. A nondescript little hole in the wall with practically no ambience to speak of (just a few plastic tables and chairs strewn about and a slightly better indoor area with wooden furniture), good food is clearly the sole driving force of this establishment. Start off with a plate of their prawns olattheyuthu (tossed in a mix of onions, tomatoes, dried coconut, and curry leaves), mutton pepper roast and beef chilli fry – zesty treats that will whet your appetites for more. Next, delve into some creamy fish mappas and kuttanadan chicken curry (or if you are feeling adventurous – their gorgeous crab curry) to be mopped up with some flaky, crispy Malabar parothas or even fluffy appams or neer dosas, ending with a bowl of warm, milky payasam.
