This café cum bakery is located on a baker’s street, at least one can call it that since it has 2 more café cum bakeries on this street in Vastrapur. It is actually housed in the verandah of a bungalow which has been covered up, so, it is a small café with just 2 tables. There is outside seating available which can be great in the winter months, but in summer the heat is too much even in the evenings. This bakery is done up in a nice quaint style with small statues of angels of hope, faith, peace, etc covered with a glass dome decorating one mantle. On another side of the café, there is a post-it board where people have posted their messages. The furniture is wooden and rustic. The menu consists of hot and cold beverages, soup, salad, kinds of pasta, toasties, fries, Thai curries and Lebanese dishes. Do try the various types of Chais, (teas) on offer both hot and cold. Try the 'Apple Cinnamon Chai' or 'Irani Chai' for the touch of the desi. Order some 'Mushroom Toasties' or 'Corn Spinach Toasties'. Want something filling? Try the 'Tofu With Brown Rice' or 'Homemade Hummus With Pita'. You can also try the 'Green or Red Thai Curry' which is served with white or brown rice, as per your choice. If you are a salad person, there is 'Chick Pea Salad', 'Hummus Salad', 'Greek Pasta Salad' and 'Spinach Brown Rice Salad'. They make, sell and serve eggless pastries, cakes, tea cakes and various types of bread like 'Garlic Bread', 'Focaccia Bread', 'Wheat Bread', 'Bread Sticks', etc.
