1947 has quite a few outlets across the city and Jayanagar is a popular one. While you can always go the buffet way, the À la carte has also got quite a bit for you to choose from. Start off with some Amba Pana, or as we know it, Aam Panna. If you would prefer something heavier, then a sweet or salt lassi can be on the cards. Tomato soup, Indian or continental style can be up next. For your starters, you can opt for the Aloo ke Tukde, which is curd marinated and tandoor cooked. The Phaldari Chaat, tandoor cooked fruits with a chaat garnish also makes for a great start. Go the Indian or Chinese way for the main course and choose from a range of dishes that the menu offers. 1947 makes an interesting range of Indian bread for you to choose from as well. The Honey Special Sundae is a great way to wrap up your meal.
