When it comes to Indian Chinese, there is no beating some of the old-timers in the city and the Chung Wah chain is an old and well-loved one. This particular outlet at Sadashivnagar has quite a large number of ardent followers. Start your meal here with the classic 'Manchow Soup' – in vegetarian or meat. Heavy and can be a meal in itself. The 'Dragon Rolls' here are great and can open up clogged noses and ears if you happen to have them. Of course, you can go with the milder sweet corn soup too. 'Chilli Prawns' is a good choice if you like spicy food. The mains have popular favourites like the 'Vegetable Fried Rice' and the 'Hot Garlic Chicken Noodles', which you can pair with any gravy of your choice. If there is one dish you must have here it is the 'Drums of Heaven' – always a top ranking dish and quite popular. The 'Flat Noodles' too make a great base for any gravy that you fancy off the menu. The menu has a mix of Chinese and Thai and so you may want to try the Thai curries in red and green. I am particularly partial to the Lemongrass sauce that they serve up here.
