There is never a shortage for comfortable social nooks in a city like Bengaluru that simply thrives on pub life and lively gastronomic culture heavy on entertainment. This interestingly named café is a great popular hangout for all the sheesha lovers in the city and becomes quite busy as the sun sets. On weekends, the café simply overflows with punters seeking to puff sheesha and talk. Dr. Sheesha is ensconced at 24th Main Road, 6th Phase, JP Nagar, Bengaluru.
One might assume from the name that the café serves an inventive bar spread but it’s not so. Dr. Sheesha does not serve alcohol of any kind. Instead, grab a mocktail to quench your thirst. Dr. Sheesha serves coolers and such in various delicious flavours. Those who don’t mind packing a few calories can always dabble into the café’s decadent thick shakes. A drool-worthy eclectic menu pairs off the drinks wonderfully. Dishes featured on the menu are crowd-pleasing in every way. First course comes packed with starters like, poutine French fries, baja crumb fried prawns, jalapeno cheese fritters, triple anda bhurjee, seekh kebab ghotala, cocktail samosas and super spicy peri peri wings. Choose something a bit more fulfilling amongst, teriyaki grill & cheese burger, club sandwich, bang on Thai curry, pasta Florentine, kung pao platter and street style ramen bowl with crunchy vegetables.
If not food go for the ambience alone. Dr. Sheesha will not disappoint in any way. Choose amongst the 20 variety of hookahs available at this place. Dr. Sheesha is a paradise for hookah lovers. Staff is friendly and eager to serve. Get your sugar rush with an oreo shake or litchi shake. Reviews are high for this place. Indoors, the décor is dark and modern but most of their clientele prefers to sit in their lovely rooftop seating from where they can enjoy the city view and puff on a sheesha under open sky. Mood is always upbeat and laid-back at Dr. Sheesha. Go if you want nothing more than to chill out and have a good time with friends.
