It may be the taste of home or the taste of Maximum City, but if a good 'Kanda Poha' or 'Shrikhand Puri Bhaji' is what you are craving for, then Purnabrahma is your answer. Go through a meal here in a systematic manner – start off with 'Balagopal Vada Pav' (I didn’t particularly like the cherry topping though). Follow that up with a 'Shrikhand Puri Bhaji'. The restaurant gets cute with this dish, having it served with mini puris of different shapes. The 'Poha with Potato' is a good option too. Going into the more substantial stuff, the 'Tuppu Varan Bhath', 'Soft Rice with Lemon, Ghee and served with a thick Dal' makes for a nice meal. Another traditional meal here is the 'Zhunka Bhakar' combo. This 'Jowar Roti' combination with brinjal. The 'Pithala Bhakar' combo is also a super one to try. On the side, some 'Kanda Bhaji' and 'Masvadi' will help complete the meal. The 'Sabudana Khichdi' is lovely. And, I am the happiest cookie with their 'Pandhra Rassa' (though the hankering for tamda will definitely be there).
