Shakesbierre takes up almost all of the top floor dining space at Eva Mall that was once dedicated to multiple restaurants. With this massive space, it has taken up the theme of Shakespeare’s work to bring around yet another brewery to the city. However the taps are yet to start flowing here and till that happens, the otherwise full-fledged will keep you nice and satiated. We decided to stick to bottled craft beers and had 'White Owls' the whole evening. They do have some interesting cocktails that I would like to try out on my next visit 'In a Pickle' – Tequila with lime pickle, 'Fair Play' – Lemongrass gin, with elderflower and 'My Mind’s Eye' - American Whiskey with cumin and rosemary. I like some of the interesting options here like the 'Korean Banchan' of assorted small dishes, the Shakesbierre Chips which include 'Tapioca', 'Raw Banana' and 'Potato Chips'. If you opt for the 'Mezze Platter', It is the 'Tabbouleh' that stands out well. The hummus definitely needs some tweaking. A lot of dishes we asked for were not available on the weekday we visited and so we settled for the 'Chicken Nachos', which was surprisingly good and the 'Lamb Koobideh', of which we seriously contemplated seconds. The 'Devilled Egg' that we ordered seemed to be a version made of scrambled eggs and did not work for me. The menu covers burgers, sandwiches, pizzas and pastas and has a fairly large selection for large plates in both meat and vegetarian.
