There is always room for another Indian restaurant in Bengaluru. And what makes Yellow Chilli special is the fact that apart from some old school desi food, it has also incorporated dishes that have come to be known as ‘Indian’ over the years. For instance, the Chilli Chicken, inspired by the one available on the streets of Chowringhee in Kolkata. The Chana Jor Garam Tikki (potato patties coated with chickpea flakes) reminds one of the delicious street snack. Try some of the other interesting creations – the Sham Savera (spinach koftas with cottage cheese in a tomato gravy, flavoured with butter) with some missi roti. And then there is the Nargisi Anda Curry – eggs coated with boiled mashed potato.
