The first thing that goes in Poison’s favour is not its name, thankfully, but the location. There are not many lounge-cum-restaurants in Sector 17 but Poison is situated right in the heart of the city. It has been known with a different name in the past and was a popular nightclub. In its refurbished avatar, Poison is a lounge and restaurant that works all through the day and even offers a reasonable lunch buffet. Step inside any time of the day, and you will feel as though it's way past midnight. The psychedelic lit roof will also instantly catch your eye. Spread out over one floor, the lounge is quite popular with youngsters who prefer hookah and meal combos. The seating is comfortable and the ambience in white and black mostly give it the appropriate nightclub feel. The menu is a please-all with a multi-cuisine spread. The ‘Chicken Thai Green Curry’ we ordered was good with flavour. The service needs to be sharper. If you are a hookah lover, then you will surely like this place, as they serve hookahs in different flavours along with different combos.
