Among the first few lounges to open in Sector 26, Chandigarh, Satva has enjoyed immense popularity for its live band gigs and also the menu. It has been consistent with its quality over the years. The lounge has a rustic feel to it and we love the exposed brick and concrete design that’s in sync with Chandigarh’s architecture. The bar stools and tables are comfortable and even though the place gets pretty packed on weekends, there’s ample leg room. The Oriental and Indian menu walks a predictable path and is a people pleaser. The focus is definitely on finger food and starters. The ‘Sarson Wali Mahi Tikka’ and ‘Tangri Kebab’ are among the bestsellers here and for all the right reasons. The recommendations from the Oriental menu include ‘Crackling Spinach’, ‘Prawns Salt and Pepper’, ‘Vegetables in Chili Basil Sauce’ to list a few. The service is very efficient and the servers make good recommendations. The prices are a tad steep though but the ambience makes up for it.
