The Beach Club takes its location very seriously – pavilion seating and balcony perches are designed for you to enjoy an unhindered view of the sea on the Kottivakkam beach. Come evening, the candlelit tables looking out onto the moonlit Bay of Bengal make this one of the most scenic date spots in the city. The restaurant is set up inside a beach bungalow, with lots of space for large groups, a day spa and indoor games. The food will not blow you away – skip the North Indian fare and order some decent crumbled shark cutlets or grilled fish to go with the view. Sadly, they do not have a liquor licence, so there is no wine to sip with the sea breeze.

The place is a charming bungalow converted into a restaurant facing the beach so it gets a lot of footfall from the beach strollers. They also have a pool next to the tables so you can have a water body right next to you. The ambience is relaxing and romantic which works very well for the couples and families. Inside of the restaurant is cosy and casual.
