The menu of Café G is superb. It is cleverly crafted so that it satisfies the hotel’s varied clientele, some of them conventional and some of them jet-setters. The restaurant is functional 24X7 so day starts pretty early for them. Stop by for a lavish breakfast or come in the evening to have a good time over drinks and food. Café G’s menu tackles North Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisines. Foray into the menu starting with, Asian chicken satay, khumb malai kali mirch, tandoori kukad, corn quesadilla, salmon & tuna nigiri, octopus salad with sesame dressing, kesariya paneer tikka, chicken souvlaki with tzatziki and gosht nariyal aur curry patte ki seekh. Follow the first course with the mains such as, draught beer battered fish fillet, black truffle topped pizza, three treasure vegetables with cashewnut, kofta-e-chaman and lobster with saffron beurre blanc.
Spoil your sweet tooth with an array of desserts like, gulab jamun, hazel nut crunchy cake with praline sauce, lemon chiffon pie, green apple champagne in white chocolate shell, kesar elaichi rasmalai and espresso flavoured mascarpone cheesecake. Ambience is another of their strong point. The look is formal, exotic and stylish. A play of grey and wine coloured chairs flanking the formal dining tables divides the space neatly. The restaurant is not too brightly lit but enough to enhance cosiness. If you want more privacy then ask to be seated in their private dining space which separates the main dining room with a wall of sheer curtain. Café G is expensive yet worth it.
