Cafe Tesu is the newest kid on the breakfast block. Named after the flame-of-the-forest bloom, it boasts of Mediterranean style white-washed walls, a dramatic wine bottle installation and pop coloured coffee jars placed strategically across its interiors. The ambience is casual and relaxed, while the seating ranges from wooden bar stools to white-toned wooden chairs with floral upholstery. The menu is striking and takes a cue from the resurgent breakfast scene across the capital. Options like The English breakfast and Carnivore breakfast are a top draw for those who want to fuel up early. But there are daintier choices such as Waffle au Chocolat, Banoffee Waffle and the Fruity Granola pancake for the light eater. A hotspot for the well-travelled crowd, the café’s spicy prawn dumpling is an eye-catcher with its vibrant orange skin. Do not miss the café’s range of top-notch coffees, curated by DEVI, a brand known for A-list Indian coffee sourced from coffee producing regions in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
