With clean lines and an Apple store like minimalistic décor, EVOO puts the spotlight on its massive pizza oven. It is a thing of beauty, sitting graciously in the middle of an open kitchen counter and fresh pizza rising within its belly of cinders. My classic 'Margherita Pie' turned out great, with a yeasty chew and a light char on top. The 'Parmesan & Truffle Fried Chicken Tenders' arrived with a light breadcrumb and Parmesan coating, but chicken slightly dry and unevenly seasoned. The 'Pesto Dip' served alongside did help but I could not really get much flavour of truffles. EVOO pipes its 'Panna Cotta' into a glass, topped with crunchy oatmeal and fruit coulis jelly. It did not quite jiggle but the smooth vanilla-bean tinged cream paired well with the texture of crumbles and fruit jelly.
