Even though there are several tried and tested recipes on this menu such as 'Mushroom Risotto', 'Spaghetti Bolognese' and lamb shank, it is with the starters that the restaurant has decided to experiment. We tried the 'Falafel Puff Dumpling' and the 'Arboric Rice Idli' and were pleasantly surprised by how good they were. But to be honest, that was the best part of the meal. We tried the 'Peri Peri Chicken Salad' which was way too spicy and the 'Almond Sole Fish', which was far too soggy. The saving grace, however, was the braised 'Pork Chops' with the 'Brandy Apple Sauce' which was very delicious. The dessert was pretty average – we tried the 'Philly Cheesecake' which was far too dense and the 'Lava Cake', which was well, not lava at all.
