It is on the main road of Chandni Chowk, so don’t expect hygiene or solitude. In spite of the rather dismal surroundings and the fact that you will certainly be pushed and jostled by passers-by, do not miss this chaat haven. The curd is creamy, the bhalla itself is coarsely ground, so it has a pleasantly grainy texture and there is a small pool of sweet chutney over a splash of tangy sauce, topped by a masala that is made in house. Served on a leaf plate, it comprises 50% of the menu, the rest being composed of tikkis that have a thick, crisp crust and that are served with a spicy green chutney.
