Oasis has a giant rock incorporated rather cleverly as part of its architecture. The surroundings are as tranquil as you would get out in the countryside, yet it is just a short way past the Tughlaqabad Fort. There’s an extensive brunch buffet every Sunday, and for the rest of the week, there is an À la carte menu that has a few gems that include very sophisticated dim sum, an impressive Asian menu and international favourites like chicken tacos, Malabar fish curry and dum ki nalli. Do not hesitate to order the soups or rice toppings from the Japanese section.

“Magnificent!” is how you will define ‘Oasis’ when you first enter it. This lovely restaurant is part of the very beautiful Vivanta by Taj, Faridababd, property. Stunning design which emphasises on the lightness of the room pays attention to each corner of the room. One wall is made completely of glass which overlooks the courtyard. The sun filters through unbarred in all its glory into the restaurant flooding it with its light. The pale room simply glows at such time. The furniture is placed at strategic places so the customers get full privacy without feeling suffocated. Theme is kept light and airy throughout the restaurant. Though the interiors are gorgeous it’s the al fresco sitting that wins your heart. Take out time and sit outside beside the fountain at evening. It will be the most romantic evening, trust me. The buffet is served every Sunday and is scrumptious. The a la carte menu is followed on weekdays.
