With a very long menu that travels around the world – Chinese, South East Asian, Mediterranean, Lebanese, Italian, European, American, Indian – there is a lot to choose from, but it is not just food that attracts the crowd here. It is a combination of decor, drinks, cocktails, hookahs on the open terrace, vibe and music that attract the punters. The two best items to sample include the dim sums and the Kai Bai Krapow – minced chicken, Thai style. With the number of nooks and crannies on multi-levels in both branches, sometimes catching the eye of a waiter takes a while, but then, most customers are there with friends, so the sting is taken out of waiting anyway.

Hauz khas village not only looks good but can also play host to a pretty good evening. Since the makeover numerous café/bars have popped up, each unique in their own way. One such address is ‘Out of the box’. It’s easy to locate as it has gained a fair share of popularity within a short period of time. Wood and rope is cleverly used throughout the café designing tiny nooks and corners to settle in. The staff is attentive and caters to your every need. Within minutes of seating you are handed the menu and are left to make your decision in peace. If you are lucky enough to find a table on the balcony extension enjoy the view of the lake with beers and calamari. It’s a personal favourite. The music is not too loud but foot tapping well.
