Formerly Shalom, it is in a new building in the same market, where peace and tranquility are still keywords. Wednesdays are Sufi nights when the bar is most crowded. In a city where the page three crowd is sought after keenly, S Bar celebrates its regular customers. The result is that the clientele takes in every age group. Their food is mainly Middle Eastern, their drinks are mainly cocktails and the mood is chilled out and laidback.
The S Bar is scattered across multiple floors, with different seating, music options, etc. We were seated on low couches with small tables for food and drinks. After doing a little early evening shopping at the stores in the market, we opted to eat at the S Bar because the menu has a little of everything, with plenty of choices for those who don't like spicy food. In the middle of the week, it was very quiet; people were just starting to filter in for the music as we left around 9 pm. We all ordered different dishes and drinks, and everyone was happy with their choices -- especially the various kebabs. Service was good, and prices were very reasonable.
Distributed in three floors, the place is quite cozy. The Terrace/ Top floor has the best ambience and feel The Staff is courteous, the dishes are well prepared and quickly served. For someone, who is allergic to smoke, this might not be the best place to be. Bringing children along is all upto you, as this is more of a lounge than fine dine
It was a good moment to go to this restaurant.really a good teatro for dinner with family .Fantastic really good
The restaurant is based in levels and hence you need to book your place according to the kind of music you prefer on weekends . The main part of the restaurant plays Bollywood and Punjabi music intended to make people dance . The food is quite good and hence this place always works . The top floor plays English music and hence if you are someone who would prefer to stay away from Bollywood , you should head to the top floor . The crowd is usually nice , though you wont find too young kids partying at this place.
We took a chance and checked out this place. Must say that the experience was good. Had some special offers on drinks and snacks were quite good.
Located at Greater Kailash 1, South Delhi is lively happening place called ‘S bar & Restaurant’. Formerly Shalom, it is in the new building but same market. The bar is well known and frequented often by young set looking for a good time. The bar is influenced by Middle East a bit which you will see in their décor. Pale and dimly lit the room is done with carved wood panels, enlightened by bright cushions. The space is huge and big enough for large groups to sit comfortably. Don’t even think of going on weekends without a prior booking. This place is so much in demand that you would not get a table.
