The Branch Café comes as a ‘comfort zone’ for the shoppers of South Extension. With pleasing interiors in mint and light wood, it brings in good energy and fills the vacuum in the chaotic market hub. The menu features a bit of Continental, Mexican, Lebanese, North Indian and more of Italian. The enthusiastic young owner, Dhairya Sethi fulfils his dream of creating a relaxing den and has personally cooked, tasted and trained his team the dishes being offered. The result is, diners get an interesting amalgamation of salads, soups, kebabs, pasta, pizzas, burgers and platters. I was happy with my combo of Quinoa salad and Mushroom Cappuccino, both made very well. I suggested the Cappuccino to be served with little less cream. Piggy Bank, Chicken Shishtouk, Charcoal Sigri Fish Tikka, Phulka Tacos, Dahi Ke Kebab, Peri Peri Penneare some of the highlights of the menu. For health-conscious diners, besides a decent choice of healthy salads, pizzas are available in whole wheat base as well. Looks like a perfect place to unwind if you happen to be in that part of the town. Take your book along and enjoy your coffee or a meal. The liquor license is awaited.
