Regular patrons of You Mee swears by its delicious food, especially the Japanese section, claiming it serves one of the finest sushi and ramen in the town. Besides the famous Japanese, the restaurant is also well-honed in the techniques of Chinese and Thai cuisines, making it a rounded affair. Their dumpling and sushi menu is known to defeat even the most hungry of diners so order carefully. Alcohol is not part of their menu so settle for a matcha shake or You Mees signature cooler. Start munching on, goma ae salad, maguro tuna nigiri, edamame truffle oil, gyoza chicken, chili hoisin pork bao, pink crab with snow peas and Hamachi yellowtail sashimi. For main course treat yourself to, tuna truffle with micro green pizza, miso tofu robata, bacon wrapped prawn skewer, YouMee signature ramen, chili beans style fish fillet, stir fried mushrooms and general tsos chicken.
They add an Asian flair to their desserts as well. On the final page of the food menu you will find, matcha crme brulee, fig & date dimsums served with salted caramel sauce, baked cheesecake with mixed berry compote, fruit sushi and sizzling chocolate lava cake with ice cream. Prices are a tad higher but justified. Dcor is entirely made or black & white colour palette. The checker floors sets off black & white illustrated walls beautifully, which are covered with manga comic strips, a complete Instagram-worthy background. Furnishings are painted in black, white and red, bringing a pop of colour. Vibe is casual, fun and laid-back.
