The oldest fine dining Mughlai, Awadhi & Lucknawi restaurant (in a 5 Star Hotel) of Gurgaon, named after the opulent spice, draws customers from all over the neighbourhood even today. Its flamboyant decor and live Ghazals sets the tone of a Nawabi era, with servers bustling around each other carrying sizzling skewers of Lamb and Chicken Kababs, Butter Naan and sweet, icy almond and pistachio Kulfi. The chef reveals a mastery of flavours and textures that can be sensed in the delectable Lagan Ka Bhuna Chaap, the ‘Dal Sultani’ or the exotic ‘Shahi Mughlai Korma’. Vegetarians would love the ‘Dahi Ke Sholey’ which is home-made yoghurt hung in muslin, spices and rolled in soft bread and deep fried or the ‘Awadhi Gobhi Adraki’ a house creation inspired by the chef himself. Service is impeccable.
