Located in the Shangri-la Hotel, Shang palace gives its diners a taste of authentic Cantonese and provincial delicacies. The use of dark maroon and gold tones in the interiors give the place a very regal look. The central deck has a shelved partition wall, with Asian artefacts on display. The menu has a wide variety of dishes ranging from steamed and fried dim sums to traditional preparations such as the Sichuan dan dan noodles. Do not miss the preparations from the live seafood counter as well. But the must-try dishes are definitely the crispy prawn balls and tofu in truffle sauce.
