Like all other Indian festivals, Holi is not far off when it comes to popular traditional food associated with it. You can check out these special offers in Kolkata

JW Lawns, JW Marriott Kolkata - Celebrate the Holi in an extravagant way with a buffet spread incorporating lip-smacking dishes like Kolkata style Chaat, Bombay Chowpatty favourites, Mukhorochoak Telebhaja and traditional Holi mithais.



In addition, there is a rain dance, private cabanas and a DJ.

Time: 11:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Cost: INR 1499 plus taxes for Buffet and unlimited soft beverage and INR 1999 plus taxes for Buffet spread with unlimited alcoholic beverages.

The Myx Bar and kitchen and Over the Top restaurant - It is a month-long Holi celebration at The Myx Bar kitchen and Over The Top restaurant in Kolkata. It is called 'Holi Moli'.

There is Cottage Cheese or Chicken Tikka in three colours by blending beetroot, spinach and saffron. There are dimsums in yellow, purple, and green skins along with Hoisin Mushroom and Oyster Garlic Chicken. There are some classic cocktails like Rang Barse an amalgamation of Vodka, Bacardi, Vanilla, there is spiked Thandai, Burnt Holika with whiskey, ginger and fresh orange.

M Bar Kitchen, Park Street Area, Kolkata - Bring in the Holi a day earlier with a special party at M Bar Kitchen where there will be the festival of colours like a Mumbai Chowpatty Holi. There will be special Pani Puri, Chana, Thandai, Kulfi and much more.

Date: 20th March 2019 from 09:00 pm onwards

Cost: INR 2000 for a couple with cover charges redeemable

The Junction, Taj Bengal, Kolkata - There will be a live DJ performance along with snacks in Holi Theme and special cocktails too.


One can take their pick from Aloo Papri Chaat, Samosa Chaat or Aloo Tikki Ghugnee Chaat or can quench their thirst with cocktails like Gulab Holi, Vodka Thandai or Rang Rasiya.

East India Room, Raajkutir - A Boutique HotelThis old Calcutta nostalgia restaurant has the Holi celebrations going on from March 21 to March 24. A perfect opportunity to celebrate this festival and tasting some mouth-watering festive delicacies.


A set menu with pampering options to choose from promises to be a wonderful meal. Oscar of Waldorf, Eliot Road Niramish Cutlet, Esplanade Raaj Kachori, Dhakai Parota from the starters, Rajshahi Luchi Aloor Dom, Oal Korma Yellow Rice and Black Forest Pudding and Shaktigorer Langcha for desserts. That definitely makes up for a great Holi meal.

Khandani Rajdhani - It is a week-long festival at Khandani Rajdhani called Rangeelo Rajasthan Festival which will be on 15th until 22nd March 2019. Experienced chefs are culling out some of the traditional delicacies like Khus Khus Gujiya, Akhrot Halwa and the other traditional dishes for which Rajdhani is famous for. The thandais will be in flavours of Maharaja Kesar, Aamsutra, Gulabo, Pomegranate, Caramel and Anjeer.
