Everyone knows that it is the best meal of the day and it is the one when you can eat like a king, but, most of the times people are hard-pressed to make themselves a great breakfast and with offices opening up sooner each day, people are missing this all-important meal of the day. That is where the restaurants and cafes offering breakfast come in. Many eateries are offering great choices for the first meal of the day with lots of variety and choices. So, we took a test run to figure out who is offering the best breakfast in town and here is what we came up with.

List of top 5 places to have breakfast in Ahmedabad

Caffix-The Tech Cafe

Caffix is open from 08:30 am in the morning and till 12 noon you can choose from their wide array of breakfast choices. Located in Vastrapur area where there are many offices in the vicinity, Caffix has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. You can have the Breakfast Bun or the Pancake With Maple Syrup And Banana, either way, you have a choice and its priced right and tastes good.

Price for two: INR 700

SandwichworkZ-The Fusion Street Cafe, IIM Road

This place is on IIM Road, close to the Ahmedabad Management Association, Indian Institute of Management and a few other colleges and corporate offices so it is well located for executives to catch and quick or leisurely breakfast beginning from 08:30 am. You can go for Big Daddy’s American Breakfast or the Savory Waffles Breakfast. It serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Price for two: INR 600

The Mad House Cafe

This is an all-day breakfast place and it has consistently won awards as the best breakfast place in town. Located on Gulbai Tekra, which is close to the corporate offices down the road, The Mad House Baker starts at 10:00 am, so, you will not be able to catch an early breakfast. But, hey! there is no closing time for breakfast here. Order their The Pork English Breakfast or have one of the pancakes here. They are known for their pancakes.

Radhika’s Authentic South Indian Food

Located on Prahladnagar, Radhika’s opens up at 08:15 am, so, you can have your breakfast here and still make it to the office at 09:00 am if it is close by. The service here is quick and they offer awesome South Indian breakfast choices which we know is the best breakfast in India. Apart from regular Idli, Dosa, Uttappam and Medu Vada, you can also get the much healthier Pesarattu Dosa which is made of Rice and Moong Dal and Adai Dosa which has Chana, Moong, Tuvar and Rice in the batter.

Price for two: INR 400

Millhouse

This newly opened eatery is located on the third floor of Ahmedabad's One Mall. It offers all-day breakfast and the choices are very interesting here. It opens at 11:00 am, so, early breakfast is out. But, if you are one to go for a late breakfast, try the Shakshuka or even the Fruit Pancake or Millhouse Waffle. It serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods.
