Must-try: The signature ‘Boarding Pass’ (whisky, bitters, ginger ale, and orange), Berry Gin and Tonic (gin, fresh berries, citrus, rosemary, tonic), Fruit and Spice Fizz (plum, galangal, citrus, mint, Campari, fizz, vodka).


The Sushi

The excellent quality of sushi on their menu was more than a pleasant surprise, especially at a whisky/ cocktail bar. The sushi is served aptly cold at the right temperature and the cuts of fish melt in your mouth, this is obviously attributed to the superior knife skills of the chef preparing your food.

Must-try: Crispy Tuna Roll, Samba Special Smoked Roll with Tuna and Salmon, Crispy Avocado Roll.


The Oriental Curries

Now I know some of you might be rolling your eyes at ordering a curry at a bar. However, the Asian curries on their menu are something flavorful and hearty that you can delve into on a boozy evening.

Must try: Red Duck Curry, Lamb Massaman Curry, Spinach & Water Chestnut Curry.


The Ambiance

Did I mention the sky-high bar? I did, didn’t I?

No worries, I’ll mention it again! Towering above and spanning across the entire restaurant this is intimidating feature is also clearly the heartbeat of this place. You guessed it, the best place to sit is definitely at the chatoyant bar counter. Great place to see their expert mixologists work their magic. During the day the overall vibe leans more towards an airy brunch spot with loads of natural light streaming through the ceiling to floor glass panels. And towards the evening they transition smoothly to a more nightlife-centric, clubby atmosphere with ambient lighting and a live DJ.
