We all love ice cream, whether it be summer or winter! Every time, I hear someone saying ice cream, my mind says the gym but my heart says creamy sweet deliciousness. We love our lollies and cones but it’s time to go beyond them and explore variations with different concepts this time.

Azoté

The meaning of Azote is Nitrogen. You will not find different flavours of ice creams displayed here like any other ice cream parlour. You need to pick a flavour and they will blend it in front of you with the help of liquid nitrogen. Once the smoke diminishes, you will able to appreciate your mouth-watering cup of ice cream adorned with a syringe full of chocolate sauce. Flavours like Red Velvet, Vienna Coffee, Pop Corn and Blueberry Cheesecake are highly recommended here.

Nirula’s

For those who have grown up in Delhi the name Nirula’s awakens a sense of nostalgia, the perfect instance of old is gold. While some of their outlets have closed down, they are officially back in various locations in Delhi with a bang. Jamaica Almond Fudge and Hot Chocolate Fudge are their superstar flavours which can make you weak in the knees.

Natural Ice Cream

Originally from Pune, Natural has become a popular destination for ice cream in Delhi as well. As the name gives you an idea, the attention here is on natural ingredients in their ice creams. They sell seasonal fruits and sugarless ice creams which are to die for. If you are planning to take some home, then be sure to finish it quickly as they are not high on preservatives. Some of their best-selling flavours are Watermelon, Tender Coconut, Anjeer, Jackfruit and Chikoo.

Where: L-8, L-Block, Outer Circle, Connaught Place, New Delhi

Timings: 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM

Frugurpop

Frugurpop has an ice cream truck parked in Gurgaon. They offer Popsicle ice creams made up of natural ingredients only; no added preservatives and sugar. I was fascinated by the options like Sangria (oh boy, there’s real alcohol in it), Kiwi Strawberry Lemonade, Le Choclatier, Green Apple Mint Tea and Oreo and Cream. One can only try to resist!

Timings: 10:00 AM to 08:00 PM

Ice Pan Creamery

The trendiest thing in town now-a-days is Rolled Ice Cream. You must have seen trillions of videos on social sites how ice cream rolled on a cold stone while mixing all the ingredients together and serving it in a bowl with your choice of colourful toppings. It is indeed a pleasure to see this!
