Top 5 Hookah lounges in Chennai

Unwind Over Flavoured Puffs

Unwind Over Flavoured Puffs

We pick five great Hookah lounges for you to unwind over flavored puffs.

Warning: Smoking Hookah has the same detrimental effect on your body as smoking cigarettes.

Kefi, Taj Club House

The classiest place on this list, Kefi is a gorgeous rooftop destination for fine Mediterranean food, serene views and some great cocktails. Go full Monty and pair the hookah with some Turkish coffee to while away a lazy afternoon or two.

The Dining Room, Park Hyatt, Velachery

Great for a mid-party hookah session, you can cross over from The Flying Elephant across the pool. Kick back besides the relaxing lotus pond and watch airplanes fly overhead.

Double happy hours are available from 6 pm to 8 pm and 11 pm to 1 am at The Flying Elephant, from Sunday to Thursday.

Aqua, The Park, Nungambakkam

Cosy up on the amorous cabanas at this chic poolside lounge atop The Park. Aqua follows the chain’s standard formula of turning into a nightclub on Fridays and Saturdays. Do order their signature drink The Aqua, tailor-made for the good times.

Touchdown Bar & Cafe, Green Meadows Resort, ECR

A popular watering hole on the ECR for its happy hours and boozy cocktails, Touchdown also serves Hookah in the garden next door. The space is somewhat boxed out though and can get uncomfortably stuffy on warm afternoons.

Drizzle - The Destination, East Coast Road

Bang on the ECR, Drizzle is a hard to miss bar and indoor hookah lounge. It is always packed on the weekends, due to its proximity to the IT hubs on OMR. The beer is rather pricey and the space feels a bit sleazy with dim lighting and the smoke.
