New kitchens, standout dishes, and serious buzz

Entering the New Year with the same old plates? Well, not in Delhi NCR. The food and beverage industry in this city is always buzzing with new openings and fresh flavours, and if you are a foodie like me, you are going to love these recommendations. Doesn’t matter if you are someone who likes visiting cosy outlets for good food with friends or fancy fine dining outlets for a family outing, this curated list of the new restaurants in Delhi NCR has everything you need.

Bruno’s Pizzeria, Galleria Market, Gurgaon

Bruno’s Pizzeria, Galleria Market, Gurgaon

A good pizza pretty much solves everything for me, and if it does the same for you, go visit Bruno’s Pizzeria. With its newest opening in Galleria Market, it’s serving premium pizza at a cosy outlet that screams craft and culture. This famous restaurant in Delhi NCR is perfect to visit if you also love Naples-style sourdough pizza. Their Boo: Jee sourdough pizza is my personal favourite on their menu.

Must-haves: Trufflegasm, G H-Spot, Drip Alfredo, Chicken Meltdown, Pepperoni Garlic Bread, Tiramisu Balls

Cost for two: ₹ 1500

Bomba Pizzera & Taqueria, Sector 62, Gurgaon

Bomba Pizzera & Taqueria, Sector 62, Gurgaon

Pizza, tacos and a booze-free beverage menu pretty much set the vibe for me, and if there is a place in Gurgaon doing it right, it’s Bomba. The chill ambience and a menu that’s innovative and experiments with each of their dishes it makes sure the best is served on your plate. For me, their Lamb Birria was the highlight of their menu. If you also love tacos, this is one of the best new restaurants in Delhi NCR to try out.

Must-haves: The Wild One, The Radcliffe, The Hottie, Prawn Puttanesca, Lamb Birria, The S’more

Cost for two: ₹ 1500

Tranzit, Khan Market, Central Delhi

Khan Market is the best place to visit when fine dining is on your mind. Tranzit, with its distinctive vibe, beautiful outdoor seating, and creative drinks, is one of my favourite places to hang out. This new restaurant in Delhi NCR sets the vibe with its expansive daytime space as well as high energy night pub serving delectable drinks. The food and bar menu are immaculate here, and if there's one thing that you must try, it’s their spicy duck gyoza. It pairs perfectly well with the drinks and is equally delectable on its own as well.

Must-haves: Okami Crab, Patatas Bravas, Charred Hamachi, Pollo Arabiata, Kizami Nori, Umi Ryoko

Marieta, Two Horizon Center, Golf Course Road

Marieta, Two Horizon Center, Golf Course Road

A globally inspired menu that beautifully serves the essence of Latin America - that’s Marieta for you. This place, with its spirited bar and dimly lit ambience, is my go-to place for a quiet and cosy dinner out with friends and family. Their menu is full of delightful main courses, but my favourite on their menu is the Casa Tiramisu, just the perfect dish to order to end your meal on a sweet note. If you are looking for some famous restaurants in Delhi NCR that get your party mood just right, this is the place to be.

Must-haves: Crunchy Tofu Tacos, Chicken And Chestnut, Crispy Guac Roll, Yuzu Chilli Prawns, Katsu Chicken Curry, Sunshine Spritzer

Cost for two: ₹ 2000

Pendulo, Mehrauli, South Delhi

Pendulo, Mehrauli, South Delhi

The hardest part for me while dining out is picking up the perfect dish from the menu, and if you struggle with the same, Pendulo’s range of set menus might be the perfect fix for you as well. While the tasting menu is very carefully curated in an ingredient-led setup, my personal favourite remains their bar menu. If looking for something fresh and tangy, go for their Mango Quemado, which brings the familiar flavour but with a fruity twist.

Must-haves:  Indian Grain Nachos, Clay Oven Yam, Batata Vada Taquitos, Jackfruit Barbacoa, Fuego Kokum

Cost for two: ₹ 6000
