Tucked away in one of the mill compounds in Lower Parel, Bengaluru’s Toit opened its doors to Mumbai’s beer fanatics in November 2017. It serves one of the largest varieties of craft beers in India. The beers are famous for their unique flavors, refreshing aromas and hoppiness. Apart from refreshing brews, Toit also has an elaborate food menu to accompany your beer. The airy space is split into different levels, allowing you to pick from cozy booths, high tables for after-work drinks, regular tables or even hang around by the large boat ashtray (the biggest in town apparently). Toit is one of the few microbreweries that are pet friendly. Yes! The beer-loving duo Nayan and Sheetal Shah have been crafting interesting brews for Mumbai using centuries-old brewing techniques of the Czech Republic. Honza Kocka, a Czech Master brewer from Prague brew at Drifters, his experience will lend authenticity to each regional beer recipe. Consistency is key in this industry as he uses traditionally processed Czech malts derived from four generations of business to deliver the same quality in every batch each time. This 2,200-square foot outlet with rustic interiors and décor, radiates an unmatched energy that will help one unwind in style. The outlet has an indoor and outdoor section with 100 seats where the ground floor gives a vibe of a beer garden and the first floor has comfortable interiors featuring a big beer tower with 12 taps and a hand-painted brewing process in the entire double-height staircase.
