Blair Waldorf’s favorite macaron brand comes to India!

The true hallmark of any die-hard foodie is the appreciation they have for really great food serving joints. And speaking from my own experience, if there’s one thing that I can never truly never get enough of, it's desserts. I do have an insatiable sweet tooth that I can’t help but appease every time the craving sets in. And if you are also a foodie who is perpetually under the control of their dominating sweet tooth then boy do I have news for you!

Hint – I’m talking about a new patisserie brand in town that comes highly approved by none other than Blair Waldorf from the iconic TV show Gossip Girl.

After making its presence felt across the world, the 159-year-old legendary French bakery, Ladurée, opened up its first outpost in India at Delhi’s Khan Market last September. Spread over 1,800 sqft, this pretty outlet occupies three levels and offers different experiences on each level.

The ground floor is more takeaway-friendly with limited seating. Here, you can indulge in all the French patisserie, macarons, other delicacies they have on display.

However, the second and the third floor are ideal for sit-down tea times and brunches/lunches, overlooking the lush and busy scenes of Khan Market.

Known primarily as the Parisian macaron-specialist, the Delhi menu of the brand features classic desserts from Maison Ladurée, including twelve macaron flavors, viennoiseries, teacakes, and pastries—including brand signature Ispahan, a pink macaron with rose petal cream, raspberries, and lychees.

Besides their picture-perfect desserts, they also offer a wide array of delicious savories including delish sandwiches, puffs, salads, varied kinds of egg dishes, side nibbles, beverages, and so much more.

Keeping in line with the pastel glamour of Ladurée’s numerous global locations, the Delhi outpost also sports a lot of pink and pastel hues accentuated with dreamy décor elements all around make the outlet seem like a whimsical scene straight out of a fairy tale. With interiors so gorgeous and food so deliciously attractive, there are plenty of photo opportunities for you at this new Ladurée outpost to jazz up your Instagram feed!
